Owner/Canine Fun Events- Obedience Classes (Puppy, Novice, Beginning Advanced, Open/Utility, Proofing)
- Conformation Classes (dog show handling) - Appointgment only
- AKC Star Puppy Program, and Canine Good Citizen, Community Good Citizen Award, an Urban Good Citizen Award Classes and Testing
- PAWS for Reading Program (Marquette Academy (Grade and High School) , and numerous Head Start Programs)
- PAWS for Seniors Program (Liberty Village, Ottawa Pavilion, PVL)
- PAWS Therapy Dog Program (under development)
- Education Seminars offered at our meetings
- Annual Christmas Party with Year End Awards for owners of dogs receiving Championship or Performance Titles that year

At this point we can provide you with information regarding the club, training classes, or the dog shows. The emphasis of our site is on educating the public. Starved Rock Kennel Club Inc. (SRKC) is a dedicated group of dog owners who do everything in their power to further the advancement of all breeds of pure-bred dogs; to participate in the prevention of cruelty to animals, dogs in particular; and to work in the community to educate the public about dogs through training classes, demonstrations, dog shows and events in the community.
